DR!FP is sort of a swap AU except instead of direct alternate versions, the changed roles generate new OCs based off of the canonical characters.
Follow the adventures of a human of trust, Mauv, and two monsters one of resilience, Ariddia, and one of percision, Lorem.

After being caught in a Dark World the same time Kris and Susie were, their entrance was knocked off balance in the game's system which prioritized Kris, who had the PLAYER, over them. Instead of joining the world with the PLAYER, they remained in their Dark World without them. Without the PLAYER present, sealing the fountain is impossible.

Even after Mauv, Ariddia, and Lorem reconnect, they still are unable to escape...that is unless the PLAYER seals the adjacent Dark World. Due to the same occurence, the data jumbled and their Dark World's conditions match the FUN GANG's conditions regardless of whether they even open or a seal a fountain or not. While it grants them a forever home in their own Castle Town, it leads them to be zapped away to an alternate version of every new Dark World where they must complete the world before the FUN GANG does, or to be softlocked away forever. A task that would be easy...if the alternate world didn't carry along alternates of every darkner...
